PROS:

Great control over the flash. If you do not like it then leave it down. If you want then just pick up the flash with your fingers. Good quality (but not great).

Speed - fast camera between shots, quick to start up, etc. I like the sharper the "real time" and others zooming

Focus - very very clear. I use macro mode to take pictures of business cards and I can zoom in and view the paper hair. Very impressive, very important to me. Take pictures of letters on the wall 5 meters with zoom. I could review it and zoom in and out and read the fine print very kind letter 5pt ~!

Low light - very good even without the flash.

Screens: a large, good quality - it is NOT a touch screen but I think it's much more durable than a touch and you do not need to be touched as the controls are easy to use.

Guidelines for selection: manual selection is good.

Video: excellent quality, you CAN zoom while filming. File size is too big for my taste in HD so I reduced the normal quality. Sound is so-so / average but acceptable.

CONS:

As far as the lens is large even when closed. This is the most serious drawback to this camera IF you intend to bring a camera in front of the pants or shirt pocket. I find myself using my phone camera because most of the discomfort and keep the point and shoot camera in my pocket. It would be better if the flash has more power and high when extended.

Power key: sometimes the lens has been opened in my pocket (or try) because the button is pressed. Th key should be smaller and / or difficult to push to prevent this.

Flash - at night when I opened the flash I have seen the flash is charging message that takes a few seconds. This delays the image. Hope it's a little faster.

Overall the camera is kind of big to be a "pocket camera". However, the lens is of good quality and good in low light and has a lot of zoom so this is a trade-off. I would like it if it's rubber body. The hard plastic is slippery.

The complexity of manual settings. I think it has more features or adjustments led to this crime. I'm getting better but sometimes I stumble or fumble to set the aperture or white balance, etc. I'm not sure how this could be simplified without adding more buttons and screwing things up.

Kill the Paper Monster! - The camera has a sharp focus, and good in low light.
